An evening with the inventor of EchoLink, Jonathan Taylor K1RFD. In 2002 he developed EchoLink, a system for integrating VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) with Amateur Radio, and authored an ARRL book on the topic which is now in its second edition. In the past 15 years, more than 500,000 hams worldwide have registered a copy of EchoLink, and today it supports remote access to thousands of repeaters and simplex stations.
This is a presentation given to the Atlantic Coast United Radio Association by Doug Crompton, WA3DSP on Dec. 11, 2016.
